Contextual Informatics

The research group Contextual Informatics is concerned with the impact of computer systems to determine the consequences relevant for computer science and to derive from this new concepts and methods for the design of these systems. The major field of research is the suitability of particular IT systems and especially IT-based infrastructure for knowledge work.

The group was renamed in 2011; its former name is Computers and Society.
