The Heinz Nixdorf Institute is intensively committed to the training and education of students and graduates with the aim of giving them the necessary requirements, they need to shape the future. A very special feature of the Heinz Nixdorf Institute is the close interaction between information science, natural science, engineering science and economics as well as aspects of social and cultural sciences. In 2010, 93 students received their diploma at the Heinz Nixdorf Institute; 21 students finished their master thesis here. 14 particularly talented graduates took their PhD.

Our dedication to promoting a new generation of researchers is expressed, in particular, in the graduate college and leading involvement of the Heinz Nixdorf Institute in the first International Graduate School at University of Paderborn.
